Lisa Hansen believes there is a hidden pandemic destroying our youth. She is convinced that startling surge in suicide of youth and young adults is linked to the current child exploitation epidemic. She faced her own dilemma as she was stuck in anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts due to her childhood trauma of sexual abuse, sex trafficking and domestic abuse. She is the Education Director for Sold No More and primary author of the, Power Over Predators program, addressing sexual abuse, exploitation, child sex trafficking, Internet safety, sexting & sextortion, cyberbullying, pornography, suicide prevention and safe, supportive relationships. Power Over Predators is being used nationally to teach children how to protect themselves from abuse and give them hope for a free and healthy future.
Renee Abrams is the School Safety Manager of Bark for Schools. She helps schools identify digital safety and wellness concerns and implement Bark solutions. Renee has a passion for education and has committed herself to student success for more than a decade. As a classroom teacher and curriculum designer, she’s created experiential learning environments where students thrive. Having taught online, she has a unique perspective on the challenges schools and families must overcome for safe and successful virtual learning. Renee is also a U.S. Army Veteran with numerous awards for her international work in journalism and public affairs.
Tammy began her career with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) as a Special Agent in 2009 in Tucson, Arizona. She worked variety of cases to include money laundering, identity and benefit fraud, drug, gun, and human smuggling investigations; however, she spent the majority of her time specializing in human trafficking investigations. Tammy was a founding member of the Southern Arizona Anti-Trafficking Unified Response Network; comprised of local, state, and federal law enforcement, prosecutors, and non-governmental agencies united to combat human trafficking. In 2017, Tammy was assigned to the Department of Homeland Security, Joint Task Force in San Antonio, Texas, a Department of Homeland Security unity of effort mission to combat transnational criminal organizations. In 2019, Tammy returned to Tucson as a Supervisory Special Agent and now leads the HSI Tucson Border Enforcement Security Task Force – Human Smuggling and Trafficking Group. Tammy is an instructor of Trafficking in Persons and Child Exploitation for the U.S. Department of State International Law Enforcement Academy; U.S. Department of Justice Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training; and the Arizona Human Trafficking Council’s Bureau, certified by the Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith, and Family and Arizona State University.
